Their story

Domaine Riberach sits in Bélesta, a village in the hills of Roussillon in southern France. The team took over a huge old winery and turned it into a working cellar, a boutique hotel and a restaurant, all under one roof.

Guests sleep in rooms built inside the old concrete wine vats, with the original vat doors still set into the walls.

How it's made

Riberach makes small batches in stainless steel tanks set inside the old concrete vats, then ages the wines in oak, including the whites and rosés. Geothermal energy powers both the winery and the hotel.

Why we carry them

Riberach is a good introduction to the Roussillon's white grapes like Macabeo. We like how much texture the barrel time gives these wines.
