Their story
Righteous Felon started with Brendan Cawley, his two brothers and a handful of friends in suburban Philadelphia. Each put in $100, and they began making jerky at home with a dehydrator, testing recipes on each other.
The name started as a joke and stuck. The company landed its first wholesale deal in 2012, and each flavor now comes with its own outlaw character on the bag.
How it's made
Recipes are developed by the Righteous Felon team and produced with a Pennsylvania meat processor. The lineup includes whole-muscle jerky and meat sticks in a range of bold flavors.
Why we carry them
Righteous Felon is our pick for a road trip or hiking snack. The flavors are bold and the bags always get a laugh.
