Rum & Cane
Regional rum blends, each marrying two distilleries' casks with nothing added.
Their story
Rum & Cane is a line of rums sourced from around the world and brought to the United States by importer ImpEx. Rather than tell the story of one distillery, each bottle sets out to capture the style of a single rum region.
The core range covers the Asia Pacific, the French overseas islands, and the British West Indies, alongside a couple of single cask bottlings.
How it's made
Each blend joins one cask from each of two distilleries in the same region, such as Trinidad and Barbados for the British West Indies or Réunion and Martinique for the French islands. The rums are bottled at 92 proof with natural color, no chill filtering, and no added sugar.
Why we carry them
We like Rum & Cane as a tasting lesson in a bottle. Line up two or three regions side by side and the differences are clear.
