Their story
Sake High! is the work of co-founders Brenna Turner and Joey Labes in Los Angeles. The idea came to them after a sake-soaked night in the mountains of Japan, where Turner has family, and where they met the brewmaster they now work with.
They launched in early 2022 with a simple goal: make sake easier to pick up and enjoy as an everyday drink, not only something to order with sushi.
How it's made
The junmai sake is brewed in Kyoto from just four ingredients: rice, water, yeast, and koji. It is packed in cans and bottles at 15% ABV.
A lot of people only think of drinking sake with sushi.
