Their story
Santa Fe Spirits was founded in 2010 by Colin Keegan, a former architect who left England in 1990 and settled in Tesuque, just outside Santa Fe, on a family apple orchard.
The orchard gave the distillery its start. Keegan had more apple cider than he knew what to do with, and turning that surplus into brandy led to a full distillery whose goal is to capture the character of the Southwest in a bottle.
How it's made
The distillery grew out of Keegan's own orchard fruit, which went into its barrel-aged apple brandy. The lineup also includes an unaged silver whiskey and other spirits made in Santa Fe.
Why we carry them
We like spirits that taste like a place, and these do. Try the apple brandy neat on a cool evening.
