Santo Puro
A blend of tequila and mezcal from Santo Spirits.
- Founded by
- Sammy Hagar, Adam Levine
Their story
Santo Puro is a bottling from Santo Spirits, the agave brand started by rock musician Sammy Hagar. The original idea was a collaboration between Hagar and his friend Adam Levine of Maroon 5, and the lineup was later championed by Hagar and chef Guy Fieri.
The brand made its name with Mezquila, a mashup of Mexico's two best-known agave spirits, tequila and mezcal, in a single bottle.
How it's made
The blend pairs tequila with mezcal. The mezcal adds a light smoke and a touch of salinity, while the tequila brings floral, fruity notes.
Why we carry them
We like this for anyone curious about mezcal who is not ready for full smoke. Try it in a margarita.
