Their story
Seed & Shell began with its founder, Denise, looking for a plant-based protein that would carry her through long workdays. She landed on pistachios and built a brand around them.
The company makes pistachio butters, a change of pace from peanut and almond, and sells them through its own website and select retailers, including Erewhon.
How it's made
Each jar is made with California-grown, Non-GMO Verified pistachios and is minimally processed. The company adds no sugar, preservatives or artificial ingredients.
Why we carry them
We like pistachio butter anywhere you would use tahini or almond butter, from toast to sauces. This one keeps the nut front and center.
