Their story

Serenity Kids is the work of Serenity Carr and her husband, Joe, who live in Austin, Texas. Serenity dealt with digestive trouble as a kid and later turned it around by changing how she ate, so when the couple looked at the baby food aisle and saw mostly fruit, they decided to make something different.

They launched in 2018 with savory pouches that follow their own family's nutrition rules, and the line has since grown to include purees built on bone broth, meats and vegetables.

How it's made

Recipes are developed in-house in the founders' kitchen and tested with their own child, staff and customer groups. Best sellers pair chicken from free-ranging birds or grass-fed beef with organic vegetables, aiming for more fat and protein and little sugar. The pouches are produced at a facility in Evansville, Indiana.

We make up the recipes in our kitchen according to our nutrition targets.

Why we carry them

We like that Serenity Kids treats little eaters to real savory food, not just sweet fruit purees. A handy pouch for the diaper bag.
