Their story
Shock Top was introduced by Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis in 2006, first as a seasonal beer led by its Belgian White. It grew into a full line of flavored wheat beers, and in 2017 the brand got a new look and a mascot called Wedgehead.
In August 2023 Anheuser-Busch sold Shock Top to Tilray, which owns it today. By then the lineup had been trimmed to the Belgian White and Zest.
How it's made
The flagship Belgian White is a witbier spiced with orange, lemon and lime peel. It is left unfiltered, which gives it a hazy look, and comes in at 5.2% alcohol.
Why we carry them
We keep Shock Top around as an easygoing, citrusy wheat beer for a crowd. Serve it cold with an orange slice.
