Their story
SideDish was started in 2022 in Dallas by Alex Snodgrass, the home cook known as The Defined Dish and a three-time New York Times bestselling cookbook author. The brand calls its dressings chef-inspired and clean-label.
The line has six dressings, from Greek Vinaigrette and Classic Ranch to Miso Caesar and Chipotle Ranch, and is sold at Whole Foods Market nationwide. Reno Yanes became chief executive in late 2025.
How it's made
The dressings are made with avocado oil as the only oil and contain no refined sugar, gluten, dairy or preservatives. They are meant to work as dips and marinades as well as salad dressings.
Why we carry them
We like having a ranch and a Caesar in the fridge that read like something you would make at home. Use them as marinades too.
