Their story
Sir Kensington's started as a college project. Mark Ramadan and Scott Norton, with friends Brandon Child and Win Bennett, first made their ketchup in 2008 and spent about two years refining it before bringing it to market in New York City in 2010.
The brand is named after an invented British gentleman merchant who gives the labels their playful voice. Early jars sold through shops like Dean & DeLuca and Williams Sonoma. Unilever bought the company in 2017, and it now runs as a wholly owned subsidiary.
How it's made
The condiments are made with Non-GMO Project verified ingredients. The line covers ketchup, mustards, mayonnaise and ranch, along with Fabanaise, a vegan mayo that uses aquafaba, the liquid from cooked chickpeas, in place of eggs.
Why we carry them
We stock Sir Kensington's for anyone who wants a classic condiment done with care. The mayo makes a noticeably better sandwich.
