Beer and Cider
Soberdough
Beer bread mixes that need only a bottle of beer and an oven.
Their story
Soberdough is an American maker of beer bread mixes, built around the idea that fresh homemade bread should not require yeast, kneading or a long rise.
The mixes come in savory flavors such as Rosemary, Roasted Garlic and Hatch Green Chile Cheddar, and they are made in the United States.
How it's made
Each bag holds the dry ingredients, including wheat flour and malted barley flour. You stir in a 12-ounce beer, or sparkling water for an alcohol-free loaf, mix by hand and bake for about 45 minutes.
Why we carry them
Soberdough is a fun, easy way to get warm bread on the table. Pair it with a favorite local beer and it doubles as a host gift.
