Their story
Solento was started by surf filmmaker Taylor Steele together with a group of lifelong friends. The brand reflects their slow-paced, coastal outlook on life.
They partnered with a family of tequila makers in Jalisco who have been distilling for more than 60 years. The lineup started with Blanco, Reposado and Anejo, and later grew to include an Extra Anejo.
How it's made
The agave is harvested in small batches from a single estate, and jimadors trim away the bitter parts of the plant before cooking. The tequila is certified organic and produced by partners who focus on careful, small-scale methods over volume.
Why we carry them
Solento is a clean, easygoing tequila we like for both sipping and margaritas. The reposado is a good place to start.
