Their story

St. Pierre is a bakery brand from Manchester, England, built on a love of French-style brioche, crepes, and waffles. The parent business began in 1986 as Carrs Foods, and in 2004 Paul Baker and Jeremy Gilboy took it over in a management buyout.

Under their watch the company grew St. Pierre into a well-known brioche brand and later expanded into the United States.

In 2022 the St. Pierre Groupe was acquired by Mexico's Grupo Bimbo, one of the world's largest bakery companies.

How it's made

The range centers on brioche, an enriched dough that bakes up soft with a gentle sweetness. Beyond buns and loaves, the line includes brioche bagels, sub rolls, waffles, croissants, and rolled crepes.

Why we carry them

St. Pierre buns are an easy upgrade for burger night or breakfast sandwiches. We like the waffles warmed up with fruit when you want something quick.
