Their story
SunSip is the soda line from Health-Ade, the kombucha company started in Los Angeles in 2012 by married couple Justin and Daina Trout and their close friend Vanessa Dew. Health-Ade began by selling naturally fermented kombucha at local farmers markets before growing into a national brand.
In early 2024 the team launched SunSip, its first soda, as a lighter take on familiar flavors like cherry cola, root beer, raspberry lemonade and strawberry vanilla.
How it's made
SunSip is sweetened with a mix of monkfruit, fruit juice and cane sugar rather than sugar alone. Each can also includes prebiotics along with added vitamins and minerals.
Why we carry them
SunSip scratches the old-fashioned soda itch with a lighter hand on the sugar bowl. The root beer and cherry cola are the ones we would grab first.
