Their story
Tache is the work of Roxana Saidi, an Iranian-American entrepreneur who grew up in California in a household where pistachios were always on the table. The idea came to her in 2015 at a family lunch in Paris, when she could not find her usual almond milk latte, and it grew from her worry about how much water almonds need during California droughts.
Back in New York she tested hundreds of versions in her kitchen with a blender and cheesecloth. Her father came out of retirement to help, and her husband Kyle joined to lead sales. After five years of self-funded development, Tache launched in November 2020.
How it's made
Tache is made only from pistachios, without the almonds, cashews or rice that many blended nut milks rely on, and with no added oils. Saidi has said sourcing top-quality pistachios was central to the recipe from the start.
Táche is not a pistachio milk company; we're a pistachio company.
Why we carry them
Tache makes a creamy, faintly nutty latte that tastes like pistachio and not much else. It is worth a try if oat and almond milk have started to feel routine.
