Their story
Tequila Dahlia comes from the same group that built Mezcal El Silencio. Co-founder Fausto Zapata and his partners wanted to add a tequila to their family of agave spirits, one that felt light and approachable without losing the character of the plant.
The brand is part of El Silencio Holdings and was introduced around 2021. Its clear cristalino expression has since become the face of the brand.
How it's made
Dahlia starts with mature, estate-grown Blue Weber agave from the Tequila Valley in Jalisco. The cooked agave is fermented with a proprietary yeast and distilled, then rested about six months in white American oak. Charcoal filtration strips out the color while keeping the soft barrel notes.
