The Walter Collective
An all-natural Caesar mix from two childhood friends in British Columbia.

Their story
Walter was started by Zack Silverman, a lawyer, and Aaron Harowitz, a graphic designer, two friends who grew up together in Richmond, British Columbia. Their company is based in Vancouver.
The pair noticed that the Caesar, Canada's most popular cocktail, had almost no alternative to the mass-market mix on the shelf. They set out to make a premium, small-batch version and named it for Walter Chell, the Calgary restaurant manager credited with inventing the drink in the late 1960s.
The mix has since become a familiar name in Canadian bars and is sold south of the border for Caesars and Bloody Marys alike.
How it's made
Walter is made with whole tomatoes, which give the mix its natural red color, along with real clam juice, cane sugar and no MSG. The clams come from a sustainable U.S. Atlantic fishery recognized by the Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise program, and the mix is produced in Ontario.
Why we carry them
We think Walter makes the best case for trying a Caesar if you have only ever had a Bloody Mary, and it works just as well with no booze at all.
