Tromba
Highland tequila from a veteran master blender and his Canadian partners.
- Founded by

- Jalisco Highlands, Jalisco
Their story
Tromba brings together a seasoned tequilero and a group of young Canadians. Marco Cedano, a former master blender at Don Julio, created the tequila with his son Rodrigo and partners including Eric Brass, who leads the company from Canada.
The brand grew through bartenders and restaurants in Canada before spreading further, earning a reputation as a tequila made for both sipping and mixing.
How it's made
Tromba is made from blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, where plants take about seven years to mature. The agave is harvested entirely by hand, and the jimadores' careful trimming of each heavy piña helps shape the flavor of the finished tequila.
Why we carry them
We like Tromba Blanco as a bright, peppery tequila that makes an honest margarita. It also holds up neat for anyone exploring highland agave.
