Their story
Drapò is a line of vermouth made in Turin by the Turin Vermouth company. The city is widely credited as the birthplace of vermouth in 1786, and the brand is rooted in that local, Piedmontese tradition of aromatized wine and distilling.
The Drapò range covers the classic styles: Rosso, Bianco and Dry, plus an oak-aged Gran Riserva. The same producer also makes Tuvè bitter and fernet.
How it's made
Drapò vermouths are wine aromatized with fruit and botanicals and bottled at 16% ABV. The Gran Riserva is aged at least eight months in a single French oak barrel and bottled at 18%.
Why we carry them
Drapò is a great way to taste Turin's vermouth tradition. We like the Rosso over ice with an orange slice, or stirred into a Negroni.
