Their story
Vigie is a small, family-owned limoncello brand founded by women and based in California. Its recipe comes from an Italian family, with roots in Sicily, reworked as a modern take on the classic lemon liqueur.
The bottle is meant to be sipped cold, mixed into cocktails or topped with prosecco for a spritz, and the brand has also put together a spritz-and-supper kit for entertaining at home.
How it's made
Organic California lemons are peeled by hand and the zest is steeped in neutral grain spirit, then finished with water and pure cane sugar. It is made in small batches at 25 percent alcohol, with no artificial colors or additives.
Why we carry them
We like that Vigie is less sweet than most limoncello on the market. It makes an easy, bright spritz.
