Their story
Winnie Lou started with a dog named Winston. When Ashlin Cook brought him home in 2016, she went looking for treats with the same kind of simple ingredient lists she wanted in her own food, and could not find any she liked.
So she started making them. The business began as a food truck for dogs and grew into a packaged line of dog treats, and more recently single-ingredient cat treats.
How it's made
Treats are made with organic proteins and produce sourced from local farmers. The recipes keep ingredient lists short and simple, and Cook has said quality comes first even as the company grows.
