Their story

WTHN was founded in 2019 by Michelle Larivee, a former investment banker. After a ski accident left her with chronic pain, she found relief through Chinese acupuncture and wanted to make that care feel easy and welcoming.

The company opened acupuncture studios in New York, offering treatments like cupping, gua sha and ear seeding, with a tea bar in the studio. It later expanded into at-home products sold online and through roughly 200 retailers.

How it's made

The at-home line draws on the practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine used in the studios, translated into simple products for daily use. Treatments in the studios are given by licensed acupuncturists.

Why we carry them

We like WTHN as an approachable entry point to Chinese herbal traditions, grounded in a working acupuncture practice.
