Zach & Zoe

Raw honey from a New Jersey family farm named for its two kids.

Founded by
Summer Johnson, Kam Johnson

Their story

Zach & Zoe Sweet Bee Farm belongs to Summer and Kam Johnson, who named it after their son and daughter. The idea started at home: Zach struggled with asthma and seasonal allergies, and the family began looking into raw honey as part of his routine.

In 2015 the Johnsons set up two hives on their New Jersey land and pulled a small harvest that first fall. They added hives every year as they learned, and the hobby turned into a business. The kids help out too, learning about pricing, packing orders and running the shop.

How it's made

The honey comes from hives the family keeps on its own property. It is sold raw, which means it is not heated or heavily filtered, so it keeps the character of the local flowers the bees visit.

Why we carry them

A real family business with a story we love telling. Try it on toast or stirred into tea.
