Their story
AMG Snacks is a Massachusetts company started by its founder, Amanda, who began making energy bites at home. She wanted a grab-and-go snack with a short ingredient list and a good texture, packed in ready portions.
The bites are now sold in independent shops around Massachusetts, at Market Basket and Gelson's, and at cafes and juice bars including Caffe Nero locations in the state.
How it's made
The bites are bound and sweetened with date paste and date syrup, a low-glycemic choice in place of refined sugar, along with a short list of all-natural ingredients. Flavors include peanut butter chocolate chip, almond chai and espresso.
