Their story

Belvoir Farm, pronounced "Beever," began in 1984 in Mary Manners' kitchen in Leicestershire, where she made elderflower cordial from her own recipe. Her husband, John, saw that it could become a business, and the first year produced about 2,000 bottles.

Their son, Peverel Manners, took over in 1992 and still runs the company. The farm has grown from batches of a few dozen bottles to a modern bottling line, while keeping the original recipe close to how Mary made it.

How it's made

Belvoir grows its own elderflowers on a large plantation on the farm and buys extra flowers by the kilo from local pickers each season. The drinks are made with fruit and flower extracts, juice, and a little citric acid, with no artificial flavors.

Why we carry them

We reach for Belvoir's elderflower pressé when we want something festive without alcohol. The cordials also mix well with sparkling wine.
