Their story
Borgo de' Medici was started in 1999 by Massimo Pugi and his family in Prato, the Tuscan town famous for its almond biscotti. The name nods to the Medici family and the long history of the region.
The company began as Borgo de Medici Delizie Toscane and has grown into an exporter of Tuscan fine foods, now sold in more than 30 countries, with a U.S. arm based here in America.
How it's made
Biscotti come from the company's own bakery, and its extra virgin olive oil is pressed at its own mill. The rest of the range is gathered from local Tuscan artisans, farmers and beekeepers.
Why we carry them
We reach for Borgo de' Medici when we want a taste of Tuscany on the counter. Their biscotti are made for dunking in coffee or vin santo.
