Their story
Bumbleberry Farms started in Karen Sandusky Mosholder's country kitchen in rural Pennsylvania. After a beekeeping workshop she set up a couple of hives in her backyard, fell for the craft, and began wondering whether she could make a living from it.
In 2011 she turned a family recipe into the first honey cream spreads, made just 18 jars at a time. Her son Jon Mosholder now leads the company from Pittsburgh, and the line has grown to include honey, jams, and gift sets.
How it's made
The spreads are cooked in small batches with whole ingredients and no preservatives, using honey from the company's own hives along with honey from other suppliers.
Why we carry them
We love Bumbleberry spreads on warm biscuits, scones, or a cheese board. They make an easy, cheerful gift.
