Their story

Cocktail Kingdom grew out of Greg Boehm's long fascination with cocktail history. His family's company, Sterling Publishing, released Salvatore Calabrese's Classic Cocktails in 1997, and through that book Boehm got to know many of the bartenders behind the craft cocktail revival. He also collected vintage cocktail books and glassware.

He launched Cocktail Kingdom in 2008 after noticing that bartenders had trouble finding good tools. It began by sourcing and importing barware and later moved into making its own. The company keeps a showroom in Manhattan's Greenwich Village.

How it's made

Cocktail Kingdom develops its tools alongside bartenders, mixing historical designs with modern styling and building them to hold up behind a busy bar. House lines include Koriko shaking tins, Leopold jiggers and Yarai mixing glasses, plus collections named for well-known bartenders and writers and a selection of cocktail books.

Why we carry them

These are the tools you see in serious cocktail bars, and they make a real difference at home too. A Koriko tin set and a Yarai mixing glass are a great place to start.
