Their story
Grady Laird started Grady's Cold Brew in New York in 2011, bringing the New Orleans style of cold coffee to the city. Friends Dave Sands and Kyle Buckley helped him launch it, first selling online and through a few shops in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
The company is now headquartered in the Bronx and has grown into ready-to-drink cans, concentrate and do-it-yourself bean bags for brewing at home.
How it's made
Ground coffee steeps in cold water for about 20 hours before the grounds are filtered out, leaving a strong concentrate to mix with water or milk. The bean bags let you make the same brew at home in a pitcher.
Why we carry them
We love a cold brew that does not taste flat or sour, and Grady's is rich and smooth. The concentrate makes iced coffee at home almost effortless.
