Their story

Kuze Fuku & Sons traces back to Ryozo and Mayumi Kuze, who started out running a small ski lodge in Nagano, Japan. Their food business, St. Cousair, grew from there into Kuze Fuku Shoten, a retail brand of Japanese foods sold across Japan.

Their son Naoki Kuze now leads the company's American arm from Newberg, Oregon, in the Willamette Valley. Kuze Fuku & Sons brings the family's sauces, dressings and condiments to U.S. kitchens, with an aim of sharing everyday Japanese food culture.

How it's made

Products are based on the company's original recipes sold in Japan, and some, like the Yuzu Miso Dressing, are produced in Newberg. Flavors lean on classic Japanese ingredients such as yuzu citrus and miso.

Why we carry them

We keep Kuze Fuku on hand for quick weeknight flavor, a spoonful of their yuzu miso dressing livens up salads, marinades and stir-fries.
