Their story
Miniware was started by Adam and Ai Su Bonnier, a married couple who wanted a better option than plastic dishes for small children. The company is registered in Sweden as Miniware AB.
Ai spent at least a year searching for certified factories and studying production techniques, and visited the production site herself to check that the processes were safe and low impact. The result is a range of bowls, plates, cups, and cutlery sized for little hands.
How it's made
Pieces are designed in-house and made from plant-based materials including bamboo and starch, with food-grade silicone parts. Detachable suction cups hold bowls and plates to a table or tray. The sets are dishwasher safe and designed to be composted at the end of their life.
