Their story
Mixly was started by a group of friends, some from college and some from work: Johnna Rossbach, Megan Sather, Stuart Yurczyk, and Rick Sather. Rossbach, who grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin, was drawn to making cocktails with fresh ingredients, and the group worked out their first recipes in their own kitchen.
The company is based in New Hope, Minnesota. Once known as Mixly Cocktail Co., it now goes by Mixly Beverage Co. after a 2026 rebrand, and it has expanded into dirty sodas alongside its mixers.
How it's made
Each flavor starts with real ingredients, and the company avoids artificial sweeteners and dyes. The mixers work with spirits or on their own as a nonalcoholic drink.
Why we carry them
Mixly makes a good cocktail easy without a shelf full of syrups. We like that it works just as well for a mocktail.
