Their story

Omnom began in 2013 when chef Kjartan Gíslason and his childhood friend Óskar Þórðarson set up a tiny chocolate lab in a converted gas station in Reykjavík.

Gíslason had cooked in Iceland, Luxembourg, Norway and Sweden, and a love of pastry and desserts drew him to chocolate. Þórðarson brought the business side. Together they built Iceland's own bean-to-bar chocolate maker, known for playful flavors and bold wrapper art.

How it's made

Omnom makes its chocolate from scratch in small batches, using single-origin cacao from places such as Madagascar, Tanzania and Nicaragua. It buys through direct trade so it can trace where beans come from, and its milk chocolates use Icelandic milk powder.

Why we carry them

We love Omnom for its creative flavors and the way Icelandic milk gives its milk chocolate a rich, creamy edge. The wrappers make it an easy gift too.
