Their story

Regans' Orange Bitters No. 6 carries the name of Gary Regan, one of the best-known bartenders and drinks writers of his generation. Born in Rochdale, England, in 1951, he started tending bar in his parents' pubs at 14 and moved to New York in 1973.

Regan went on to write books that shaped modern bartending, including The Joy of Mixology and The Bartender's Bible. He expanded into the liquor business by developing his own orange bitters, which the Sazerac Company produces.

Regan died in 2019, and his bitters remain a fixture behind cocktail bars.

How it's made

The bitters follow Gary Regan's own orange bitters recipe and are produced by the Sazerac Company. They come in small bottles meant to be used a few dashes at a time.

Why we carry them

A few dashes of Regan's wake up a Martini or an Old Fashioned. It is the orange bitters we reach for first at home.
