Their story
Tochi was started by Ian Seah, Marc Seah and Dina Shi, friends with roots in Singapore who missed the snacks they grew up with. It began when friends kept asking them for salted egg fish skins and potato chips, a Singaporean favorite that was hard to find in the United States.
Ian was still working as a product manager in New York when the team launched, with the goal of making Singaporean and wider Asian flavors easy to find on American shelves. Their chips are now sold through natural grocers and online.
How it's made
Tochi's salmon chips are upcycled from salmon skins sourced from fisheries off the coasts of Norway and England. The skins are crisped and seasoned in flavors such as Salted Egg, Korean BBQ, Sriracha and Thai Lime & Herb, using organic ingredients where they can.
Why we carry them
We love a snack that puts a part of the fish most people throw away to good use. The salted egg flavor is rich, savory and hard to stop eating.
